My Book

“The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only one page”

I wrote this little book called: Greater than a Tourist, 50 travel tips from a local in Seville, Andalucia, Spain. In this book I share some of the things that I have learned about this beautiful city since moving to Seville in January of 2018.

About the book

Sevillians say “Sevilla tiene un color especial” (“Seville has a special color”) and it is most certainly true. This special color is Seville’s superpower that makes you want to come back for more. Make your trip to Seville one filled with memorable experiences, and one you’ll never forget, and I hope that with the help of my tips Seville works its magic on you too.

Greater Than a Tourist – Seville Andalusia Spain by Robin Custers offers the inside scoop on Seville. Most travel books tell you how to travel like a tourist. Although there is nothing wrong with that, as part of the Greater Than a Tourist series, this book will give you travel tips from someone who has lived at your next travel destination.

In these pages, you’ll discover advice that will help you throughout your stay in Seville. It will not tell you exact addresses or store hours but instead will give you excitement and knowledge from a local that you may not find in other smaller print travel books.

Travel like a local. Slow down, stay in one place, and get to know the people and the culture. By the time you finish this book, you will be eager and prepared to travel to Seville!
